A delegation of Ukrainian gallerists and curators representing Zenyk Art Gallery (ZAG) will visit Western Washington from July 17-26 as part of the Kozytskyi Charity Foundation’s ‘We and the World’ initiative. Governor Bob Ferguson, ArtsWA, and the Washington State Department of Commerce are supporting the visit. The delegation includes ZAG Director Khrystyna Berehovska and Rostyslav Kondrych, a Hero of Ukraine who lost limbs in combat and now advocates for veteran rehabilitation. A portion of funds from art sales will support prosthetic treatments for Ukrainian veterans and children. The exhibit ‘Life is Beautiful. Isn’t It?’ will open at the Bellevue Toloka Ukrainian Cultural Center and feature works from Ukrainian artists. The delegation will also participate in the Seattle Art Fair from July 23-26.
