Thurston County property owners must pay the first half of their 2026 property taxes by Thursday, April 30. Residents can pay online, in person at the Thurston County Treasurer's office at 3000 Pacific Ave SE in Olympia, or use the drop box in front of that building.
Those paying by mail should send payments early. The county warns that the U. S. Postal Service no longer guarantees a same-day postmark, which could result in a late payment.
Separately, the county's Public Health and Social Services main office at 412 Lilly Rd. NE and its Environmental Health office at 3000 Pacific Ave SE, Suite 225, will both be closed to the public on Wednesday, April 22, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for an all-staff meeting. Both offices reopen Thursday, April 23.
