Thurston County Hosts First Youth Livestock Expo in April

Young livestock exhibitors from across the region will have their first-ever county-level competition when Thurston County launches its inaugural Youth Exposition and Jackpot on Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and 26, 2026, at the Thurston County Fairgrounds in Lacey, Washington. The event, announced March 17, is free and open to the public both days.

The competition follows a format commonly associated with 4-H and FFA programs, where young participants show and compete with animals they have raised. No admission fee will be charged at the fairgrounds entrance on either day.
