Olympia's Permit Center now requires all inspections to be scheduled through an online portal instead of by phone.

Residents must schedule inspections within five business days of needing them to reduce cancellations and keep projects on track. The city says inspections can be scheduled for AM or PM slots, with exact times available by calling the Permit Center on the day of the inspection.

The online system also requires a specific access code to set up an account. Residents who cannot find their access code should call the Permit Center at 360. 753. 8314. Final inspections require all permits to be issued, signed off, and paid in full before scheduling.
