The City of Olympia's Permit Center will now be open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding City-recognized holidays, according to the city's public records. The center, located at 601 4th Avenue E, will close on Fridays.

Permit Center staff will continue to assist residents with construction permits, land use reviews, and inspections through the city's online portal. Inspections must be scheduled through the online portal within five business days, and residents can select AM or PM time slots.
