Olympia Subdivision, Marina Projects Move Forward

Olympia City and Thurston County are reviewing three development projects with public comment periods open through August.

The Walnut Trails Subdivision would divide 6. 17 acres into 21 single-family lots in Olympia, requiring critical area protections for a stream and wetland. The Parr Division of Land project would create 58 residential lots on 7649 Littlerock Rd SW. Meanwhile, the West Bay Marina Association seeks to replace unsafe wooden piers with new materials at 2100 West Bay Dr NW, addressing environmental standards and repairing a water line.

Public comments are due by August 19 for Walnut Trails, August 10 for Parr Division, and August 7 for West Bay Marina. The projects must comply with environmental regulations before final approval.
