The Olympia City Council will take a final vote Tuesday on a $1.8 million contract with Cascade Earthworks to repair the Percival Landing boardwalk, with construction running June through September.
The council will also hold a public hearing on an 84-unit affordable housing development proposed by the nonprofit Homes First at 2400 State Ave NE. The aging boardwalk has been closed to foot traffic since storm damage last winter.
In other business, the council will appoint Lena Ortiz to a three-year term on the Planning Commission and approve a $250,000 state grant for trail improvements at Yauger Park.
