North Thurston Public Schools will hold a Special Education Community Café on Tuesday, April 14, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at North Thurston High School, located at 600 Sleater-Kinney Rd NE. The event is open to families and community members who want to engage in conversation about special education services.
Families interested in attending are asked to RSVP in advance. Details and registration are available through the NTPS website.
The district also has several other upcoming items for families. Kindergarten registration is open for children who turn 5 on or before August 31, 2026. NTPS is offering a prize drawing for families who register by May 1. The district's Dual Language Immersion Program is also accepting applications for fall 2026.
