North Thurston Public Schools (NTPS) will host a Special Education Community Café on Tuesday, April 14, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at North Thurston High School, located at 600 Sleater-Kinney Road NE. Families are asked to RSVP in advance.
The district is also encouraging kindergarten registration for the 2026–27 school year. Children who turn 5 on or before August 31, 2026, are eligible to enroll. NTPS is offering a prize drawing for families who register by May 1.
Also this week, the district is accepting applications for its Dual Language Immersion Program for fall 2026. NTPS offers four choice schools, including Ignite Family Academy, which combines at-home learning with classroom instruction.
April 15 — Military Bingo, Pizza, and Root Beer Floats Timberline High School will host this event from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the school commons at 6120 Mullen Road SE. The event is part of the district's Month of the Military Child activities, which also include a virtual art wall collecting student submissions.
