Olympia's Nisqually School District (NTPS) announced updates for the 2025-2026 school year, including facility improvements and expanded educational programs.
The district serves 15,000 students across 13 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, 3 high schools, and 4 choice schools. Through a 2020 bond, NTPS remodeled Komachin Middle School, River Ridge High School, and the Raj Manhas Activity Center. The district also offers dual-credit classes, multilingual programs for over 1,000 students, and full-day kindergarten at all elementary schools.
NTPS plans to continue focusing on student achievement, staff development, and community partnerships as part of its annual theme. The district’s Board of Directors recently earned a 2025 Board of Distinction award from the Washington State School Directors Association.
