Intercity Transit Cuts to One Meeting Per Month

Starting April 1, 2026, the Intercity Transit Authority (ITA) will hold one meeting per month instead of two, gathering on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

Meetings will continue to be held in the Board Room at the Pattison Street facility in Olympia, with doors opening at 5 p.m. Residents who cannot attend in person can join by phone at toll-free number (844) 730-0140 or observe via Microsoft Teams by registering online. Full meeting details are available at intercitytransit.com/agency/transit-authority/meetings.

The ITA governs Intercity Transit, the public bus system serving Olympia and surrounding communities. The agency is also preparing for a May 2026 system redesign, which has been referenced in recent rider newsletters. The schedule change means the public will have fewer opportunities each month to address the board directly.
