Governor Bob Ferguson announced today that Matt Jones is departing as Director of the Department of Enterprise Services (DES) effective immediately.

Cami Feek, Employment Security Department Commissioner, will temporarily serve as DES director. Feek has 30 years of state service, including designing Washington's Paid Family and Medical Leave program. She was appointed ESD Commissioner by Governor Inslee in 2021 and reappointed by Governor Ferguson in December 2024.

During this transition, ESD Chief Operations Officer Martin McMurry will serve as interim ESD Commissioner.
