Thurston County Emergency Management is asking residents and businesses to report damage from the December 2025 severe storms that hit the region. Officials want reports submitted even for minor damage, saying the information helps build an accurate picture of how the storms affected the county.
The county activated its Emergency Coordination Center on December 10, 2025, in response to heavy rainfall and flooding forecasts. Residents were encouraged to sign up for Thurston Community Alerts to receive text notifications about flooding and other emergencies. The non-emergency help line, (360) 867-2800, was available for questions.
Residents can submit storm damage reports through the county's Emergency Management office. The office is located at 9521 Tilley Road Southwest in Olympia and is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
