Thurston County Emergency Management is asking residents and businesses to report damage caused by the severe storm systems that hit Washington State in December 2025. Officials want reports of flooding, wind damage, and other storm-related impacts, including minor ones.
The county says broad participation in damage reporting helps officials build an accurate picture of how the storms affected Thurston County. Residents can submit reports online through the county's emergency management resources.
Separately, the county activated its Emergency Coordination Center on December 10, 2025, in response to rainfall and flooding conditions at that time. Residents were encouraged to sign up for Thurston Community Alerts to receive text notifications about flooding or other emergencies. For non-emergency questions, residents can call (360) 867-2800.
Thurston County Emergency Management is located at 9521 Tilley Road Southwest, Olympia, WA 98512, and is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
