Children who turn 5 on or before August 31, 2026 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten at North Thurston Public Schools (NTPS) for the 2026–2027 school year — and families who register by May 1 will be entered for a chance to win a prize. The district is also accepting applications for its Dual Language Immersion Program for fall 2026. Families interested in that program can apply through the NTPS website.
Special Education Community Café NTPS will host a Special Education Community Café on Tuesday, April 14, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. The event gives families a chance to connect and discuss special education topics. RSVPs are available through the district's website.
Spring Break & Board Conference All NTPS schools and offices are closed for spring break through April 10. School board members are attending the National School Boards Association Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas from April 10 through April 12.
