The Nisqually School District (NTPS) serves 15,000 students across 13 elementary schools, four middle schools, and three comprehensive high schools. The district also operates four choice schools, including a virtual school, home-based instruction support, a performing arts middle school, and a career and technical education-focused high school.
NTPS provides full-day kindergarten at all elementary schools, Transition to Kindergarten programs at select schools, and four preschool locations. The district offers 100+ dual-credit classes for high school students to earn college credit simultaneously. Over 1,000 students participate in the Multilingual Learners program, representing more than 50 home languages. The district also operates a Dual Language Program at three elementary schools and one middle school.
The district's Board of Directors received a 2025 Board of Distinction award from the Washington State School Directors Association. Through a 2020 voter-approved bond, NTPS remodeled Komachin Middle School, River Ridge High School, and the Raj Manhas Activity Center (RMAC) South to maintain modern, safe facilities.
