The Intercity Transit Authority (ITA) is now meeting once a month instead of twice, starting April 1, 2026. The board passed a resolution making the change, with meetings scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
The next ITA meeting is Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Residents can attend in person at the Board Room of the Pattison Street facility, with doors opening at 5 p.m. They can also join by phone at (844) 730-0140 using Conference ID 499 245 126#, or watch via Microsoft Teams by registering online at intercitytransit.com.
Intercity Transit also has a service change coming on May 3, 2026. The agency describes it as a system redesign and has been holding in-person outreach events to inform riders. Route maps and schedules for the new system are available on the Intercity Transit website.
Intercity Transit serves Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, and surrounding Thurston County communities. Riders looking for more information can read the April 2026 Rider News on the agency's website, which covers trip planning for the May changes and other updates.
