Thurston County Emergency Management is hosting a free Emergency Preparedness Expo on July 4, 2026, at the Olympia Community Center.
The event will provide resources and information on how to prepare for natural disasters, including earthquakes, floods, and wildfires. Attendees will receive free emergency kits and learn about local emergency response plans.
The expo aims to increase community resilience by equipping residents with essential preparedness tools and knowledge. It will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with representatives from local emergency services on hand to answer questions.
